Thanks JT for turning me on to this show. I will definitely be watching.

Anybody watch last weeks? Let the truth be told.
This Monday, "Tecumseh's Vision"

Perhaps 30 years ago I had a dream that in the far away future monorails built high off the ground linked Indian reservations around this country. Maybe this was a crazy dream like so many are.

Did I say that? Damn, I must remember to TVO!

DOH! You forgot!
I'm sure you can buy a set of DVD's.

I've got the repeat show set up and future ones to come! I'm ready!

Tomorrow night "Trail of Tears". One of the saddest episodes in American history. Thanks mostly to 7th President Andrew Jackson.

"Geronimo" tonite at 9pm.

A few words on the episodes I have viewed so far...

I read a great book on Tecumseh (and The Prophet) about ten years+ago entitled "Panther In The Sky". He truly was a great leader (Tecumseh), not so much his brother!

Trail of Tears - a new revelation to me on the Cherokee "aristocracy" owning slaves. Interesting indeed...

I'd like to read that book. I haven't read much of the history before the Trail of Tears.

In tonite's episode, did anyone else notice that Mangas Colorado's name was never mentioned?, even though he was the medicine man that was beheaded, whom the Apache's talked about? Might have had something to do with the way he died and Apache tradition.
