Now that Kona has passed into history and The Beachcomber lives on the mainland again, I'm wondering if anyone can spill the beans about one of Kona's secret ingredients? They had a particular margarita recipe on their menu that got an insanely delicious spiced powder on its rim instead of salt. This stuff was seriously good, and my wife and I tried and tried to get the bartender to give up the composition of it time after time, but he never would. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Anybody got a recipe? |

I agree, sorry to see you leave Ryan although I was only there once while you were there, I liked the drinks very much. |
