Is this your auction? I am assuming so :) Good starting price. I hope you are able to sell it for a good amount. If only it was $10 than PTD would be so inclined to bid  |

All I can say is "Wow". That is another fine example of possibly one of the best velvet artists ever. I have been extremely lucky enough to find two and am always looking for these at every turn. If you don't sell it on Ebay, let me know and maybe we can work out a trade. Truly beautiful! PTD |

Wow, that is one of his more exquisite paintings! I'm sorry that you have to sell it. What I found interesting is that bongofury found an oil on canvas that he did dated 1955 that is almost the same. http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=9889&forum=1&start=30&40 Looks like he went back after all those years and decided to recreate it on velvet! Very cool. |

Black Velvet artists were commercially oriented, and often re-did their more successful motifs in slightly different versions. Leeteg painted countless Hina Rapas, because he could sell them easily. This '72 Tyree must be the finest version of them all (if he did more), an Exotica girl par excellence! |

The question is Sven ,where are they all? He might have painted many, http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=leeteg&_sacat=See-All-Categories |

Yes congrats! When I saw it was at only $200 I was hoping for the best! I hope the price makes the sale a little less sad for ya because I know you didn't want to part with it. |
