It's the mid'60s. This rock'n'roll thing ain't going away. What's a crooner or band-leader to do but throw in some things that are hip with the kids?
What are the other biggies from the rock-ish side of the fence that you see over and over? (Interestingly no Elvis.) |

Going thru the vinyl bins at Amoeba the other day, I kept coming across versions of "59th St Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)" |

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but I was referring to the old days of EZ/lounge music. Lots of record hounds here. And, as has been pointed out, there are no message boards dedicated to lounge music in general. TikiCentral's all we've got, don't throw me out, I'll be good I promise! |

As soon as I saw this post I immediately thought of the two late 60s Capitol LPs that Mel Torme did. Covered "Happy Together" and "Sunshine Superman" among other things. These two LPs are really worth picking up! |
