Well, how much fun was that?!

At least two barrels worth of monkeys, I'd say.

Do we have a date for the May edition, and will it be San Francisco? Trying to plan around it this time!

For SF CC #6 looks like SATURDAY MAY 16
It will be in SF either Hayes Valley or the SF Waterfront
It is also SF Cocktail Week that week

SF CC # 7 should be Sat June 6

Cool! I'll meet you there around 6:00.

CL

Yes, Bill and I heard about Jim being there as well. We've also heard it's a great place much like an East Bay version of Bourbon & Branch. Paul, was that your take on it too?

I liked Grand Tavern someone said it looks like a Frat House
which is true but in a good way
Tried their Old Cuban, Hemingway, Absinthe Daiquiri, and Old Fashioned
All were good Food is good good bartenders
Their schedules are not firm yet
If you want to see Jim, you will have to wing it for now

RR

Wow SF Cocktail # 7 was Epic!
5 stops RN 74, Boulevard, Epic Roadhouse, Slanted Door, & Gitane !

SF COCKTAIL TOUR is now on Summer Recess until October

But, I would like to meet at ADESSO or GRAND TAVERN on a Wednesday before F.I. sometime
Let me know which Wed would work out

Is Jim only at Grand Tavern now...or is he still at Barceluna too?

Anyone who wants to stop at Adesso or Grand Tavern on a Wed before F.I
let me know Wed July 1 was mentioned, but we can do it any Wed

Adesso(across from the Kona Club in Oakland) has great free appetizers for happy hour

Grand Tavern 3601 Grand Ave happy hour $2 off all cocktails

Finally made it to HEAVEN's DOG 1148 Mission St SF
excellent cocktails tried the:
Remember the Maine with Rye, Vermouth, cherry brandy, and Absinthe
The Pendennis Club a Kentucky drink with Millers Gin, Apricot brandy, lime, and Peychauds bitters

Behind the bar was Mr Eric Johnson a future partner in BAR AGRICOLE opening Nov 2009
Once this new place opens, I will pair it with Heavens Dog for a SF CC Tour

Even though we are on Summer Recess We can throw together a summer tour for TC Out of Towners

tried out RICKHOUSE, the new bar at 246 Kearny St SF
opened by the Bourbon & Branch folks
tried the KENTUCKY BUCK, GEORGIA MINT JULEP, and the RED AND BLUE SMASH
all three were great

Sep or Oct SF Classic Cocktail will feature RICKHOUSE & GITANE

Good times at The Uptown. Good times.

Note the dancing, hoola hooping, and drinking, all at the same time. Multitasking at it's finest!

Thanks for the pics from Uptown
Swank Bastards show at 15 Romolo Bar was also great
first time they have had live music there

18 cocktails on the menu

CL

Yep, same girl. She's had several hair colors: from red to blue to blond and all around.....

If you haven't been on one of these SF crawls this is a great one to go to.
Rum Runner has scounted some great cocktail bars to go to.

Single village fix at Baretta is yummy !!

My schedule is booked already. Wish I could go.

I might make the first stop, but then I have other plans with Lala. We might both make it to an "unscheduled" later stop if someone (read: Tai Won On) can text me the destinations as they happen. :) Mahalo

Sorry I missed it. Family emergency. Any pictures? I want to drool over what I missed.
