Saw this matchbook on ebay from the Polynesian Room in Oceanside. Could not find anything more about the place.

Wonder if this is where Tipsy's giant swizzle is from?

Wow, great matchbook graphic, great swizzle! The Tiki on the matchbook reminds me of Squid's Ohana mug....I love seeing vintage artifacts I've never seen before. :)

I've been trying to find information on this place for quite some time. I actually bid quite a bit on this matchbook.. it ended up going for over $90 if I remember right.

The first mention of the place I can find is in a phone book from 1965. It was located at 1004 N. Strand in Oceanside, CA. The area now is just a bunch of condos.

Glad to here you are doing some research on this place, hope you find some more info. I too went after that matchbook but the big kids came out to play for that one.

That swizzle is one of the big wood ones that Tipsy McStagger is making. I don't know if he has an original that he used as a model or not.
