Stolen Idols will be playing this Sunday, 11/29, at Pan Y Vino Tapas and Wine from 6 to 9 PM. Pan Y Vino is located at 369 Main Street in Downtown Dunedin, Florida Admission is FREE, with dinner and tapas (of course!). We will play our seductive mix of Latin jazz, exotica, and standards. Yep, THAT's how exotica is done!!!!!!!!!! Excellent! Real instruments, real musicians, correct chords and notes....good job, guys!!! You guys are among my favorite exotica groups, along with Tikiyaki, martini kings, and Don Tiki! |

I do have some background in classical but I am largely self-taught. Most of my formal training had more of a jazz slant. Our vibraphonist, Kent Oldfield, studied classical marimba and played in percussion ensembles focused on 20th Century music. Thanks again Lucas. Looking forward to hearing more from the Smokin Menehunes! Hope to see some folks a Pan Y Vino tonight! |
