Caliente Tropics mention in a movie

Just saw a fun movie on DVD "29 Palms". Great soundtrack with Ronnie Dawson, Big Sandy, Morphine, etc., Increadible cars such as the Yugo, Gremlin, and Pacer, cool retro modern motels and furnishings. About robbing an Indian Casino. In the credits there is a thanks to the Caliente Tropics and some other hotels/motels. Did the cast stay there, any of it in the movie? Aloha

I remember hearing about that film. Kinda an indie thing, right? Do you know how can I get ahold of that movie? Was it any good?

We liked the flick. Indie production has some audio and visual glitches but the music and the kinda film noir mood I liked. We bought it used after watching it twice.... from Amazon.com for under $10.00 including shipping.....
