Two olive green ceramic Tiki mugs. Each measure 6 3/4 inches high by 2 3/4 inches wide. The same design appears on both sides. I see many similar mugs on ebay, but all are slightly different. Can any one identify this pair? |

If marked 'Made in China', it's less exciting, but holds liquids just the same. [ Edited by: dewey-surf 2010-03-31 18:43 ] |

Libbey did a version that seems to be everywhere. Some are green and some have brown/green glazes. Check out Ooga-Mooga's listing: http://www.ooga-mooga.com/cgi-bin/all/mug.cgi?mode=view&mug_id=1975 |

The glaze on yours is much sharper than many of the pics on Ooga Mooga's listing. Several of those pics are of the cloudy green/brown glazed Libbey mugs which were offered at an extreme price discount through Cost Plus World Market and other vendors about a year ago. I see them a lot. However, I've also seen better glazed Libbey versions of this mug in the past. It's so hard to tell who made yours without any stamp or sticker. Good luck! |

From your picture, it looks like the mugs are the standard green or blue green glaze. I recently picked up one of these with a green over brown glaze ala Frankoma. I figured it was Chinese as the interesting glaze was on "blah" over-used mold ceramic. Nancy |

Try entering that barcode into a upc lookup database and let us know if it comes up with anything. I'm sure there are more. |

The barcode was torn, so I removed it. Since these are light weight with no other markings, I will assume these are Shonfeld's. Thank you every one for your help. |
