Here is my first official project, given to me by the local government of Hengelo
I only started last week, this is for so far...THE FIRST DUTCH RESULTS !

Benzart the log I am using is directly translate swamp oak.
I don t now that's the right translation.
And I am pleased that you folks like my tiki.
I keep on carving en posted.

Dude, that's awesome. Love the big stuff.

Is the oak hard to carve? I imagine it's softer and easier the greener it is. I tried putting a chisel to a cured piece of oak and decided it was no fun.
