Beachbum Berry and Sven Kirsten at the Tiki Ti

The Bum stopped in for a drink with Sven on his way to the Sound of Tiki CD release party. I asked Jeff "Do you miss LA?"
Well, I miss the Tiki Ti he replied. Wouldn't we all if it wasn't here.

The Ti was indeed the cradle of inspiration and wisdom for Jeff and me, sort of the Tiki cocktail culture fountainhead, as much as Oceanic Arts was the King Tut's Tomb of Tiki art and history.

Now that the bum is an out-of-towner and traveling rum recipe runner, it sure was nice to have him back in the familiar environs, and be welcomed by the Mikes, and the good spirit of the Ti, Rasta Jim. Thanks Tim and Jim for the pics. It feels a little awkward to have them plastered in full in General Tiki, as I still maintain that I do not want to be seen as a celeb in the community. But I am glad someone captured this momentous moment.
