I'm a big fan of PM but only caught about the last 30 minutes of the concert. It looked like it was a great show. It was pretty symbolic playing in Red Square, especially when he did "Back In The USSR." I dunno, I'd really like to see Paul rely less on the Beatles classics and more on stuff people are not that familiar with...like the music he's doing NOW. His last album was one of his best but I don't think it sold too well. He's working on a new album right now with the same band (which is cool because his current band is awesome). I don't think he needs to play "Hey Jude," "Yesterday" and "Let It Be" at every show anymore. He needs to keep his edge and keep surprising people. Anyway, that concludes my PM commentary... :drink: |
