EDIT: Without going into medical detail about the first doctor visit I'll skip to the "second opinion." I went for a physical and described the same symptom and nothing was found. :D :D :D :D

rrriiiipppp!!! Sorry about that dude. I got no advice for you but my dad had the surgery done uneventfully years ago. Depending on the size and location, the risks of NOT having it done are probably greater than the risk of surgery.

GROG' dad had two hernia operations, and GROG roommate had two hernia operations.
