Thanks Kirby-- had a great time! Here's the info on my art: "Show Them to Their Rooms, Igor!" One of my favorite episodes from "Gilligan's Island" was called "The Friendly Physician", which had to do with a mad scientist switching the Castaways' brains. Painting stages can be found at my blog at: http://boblizarraga.blogspot.com/ 11" x 17" prints on semi-gloss stock are also available for $20.00- free shipping anywhere in the USA. Paypal accepted - [email protected], and specify "Gilligan Print". Thanks [ Edited by: Batfink 2010-11-22 09:26 ] [ Edited by: Batfink 2010-11-22 09:45 ] [ Edited by: Batfink 2010-11-22 10:07 ] |

What an incredible weekend of all things Gilligan. So many wonderful people to thank: Jim, Mark & the Tikiyaki Orchestra; Tess & Brian of the Mayflower Club; Jeremy, Kelly and Lisa-Marie of the Tonga Hut; and of course Master Kirby for making this whole Castaway thing a reality. But the biggest thanks goes to Mrs. Tobor64, Julia (hulihukilau) who's always there to support my cockamamie ideas without batting an eye. I loves that woman! Here is my contribution to the Art Show now on view at the Tonga Hut: This is a signed and numbered limited edition giclee printed on heavy watercolor paper with an edition size of 25, complete with a COA. The print comes in a professionally framed version as well, complete with a bamboo thatch-like mat: The dimensions for the unframed print are 18"x24" with an image size of 14"x20", and the framed print measures 23"x29". The unframed prints are $60.00 plus insured shipping, mailed rolled in a sturdy tube, and the deluxe framed edition is $200.00 plus insured shipping. If you're local to the Burbank/Los Angeles area I could arrange for a local pick up. I also have other quality art prints available that can be seen here: http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=38344&forum=21&11 PM me here for more information. Thanks! I realized I didn't post a pic of my second piece for the show, and here it is: The idea behind this piece was to distill the characters to their signature colors, like Gilligan's white hat, red shirt and blue pants and the Skipper's black cap, blue shirt and khaki pants. I added props specific to the characters as well, like the radio, Mary Ann's coconut cream pie, Mr. Howell's ubiquitous cocktail in a bamboo mug, and the Professor's primitive scientific contraptions. It's 120.00, and still available! Mahalo to Tikiyaki for putting on another amazing performance, and Kirby for organizing an awesome art show! MP's Awesome velvet "Kirbys Kona Kurse" Dave Lozeaus "Gilligan's Revenge" SOLD Tonga Tom $150 Polynesiac Jim's amazing carved sign.
