very nice! how does chesnut carve? Is that chsels, knives or powertools?

Apricot tree, wax & paint, 2,3 feet

Chestnut isn't very good to carve, hard wood. I use chisels

chestnut,bone,beef horn

Nice carvings mate, and cool see to see another gearhead on here. What have you got for wheels?

I used a slice of bone, first shape with knife grinder, dremel, handsanding and polishing
