Thought I'd use Tc to vent about missing out being the owner of this. I still can't believe I thought twice about this lamp. Just goes to show you should always go with your gut reaction and never pass up what you love (if you've got the cash) because there will surely be another tikiphile right behind you happily willing to say yes to opportunity. And it was only $15! What was I thinking!!!!!! One side of the lamp had a lot of carved tiki faces, too.

I'm NOT saying it isn't Tiki, but it reminds me of a Mayan Stele :) Sorry you didn't get it :( |

this lamp was on etsy. .the seller had it listed as tiki but they showed close ups of the images and they were Mayan. Solid lamp though for the price |

I realize it wasn't pure tiki but it would have blended in and passed with my other stuff. I once saw a lamp that looked like this but was made from the handles of carved tiki monkey pod giant fork and spoons. That one was pure but not as nice looking. |
