C croe67 Tiki Socialite Joined: Jan 05, 2003 Posts: 1202	C croe67 Posted posted on Sun, Jan 9, 2011 8:41 PM Ohana Luau at the Lake & the Fraternal Order of Moai, Inc. are pleased to announce the details of the 2010 annual donation to our national charity, the Easter Island Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The Order has donated $5,000 to the foundation to fund two scholarships for Rapa Nui students attending college and also provide support for the foundation's general fund. This gift renews and enlarges The Fraternal Order of Moai Scholarship and creates a new The Fraternal Order of Moai Tangata Manu Scholarship as well. The donation was raised at the Order's largest event, Ohana Luau at the Lake, and includes event proceeds, donations from event sponsors, money raised at a dunk tank, a silent auction, the now infamous Mystery Bowl Auction which has become a signature part of the event and sales of the limited edition Music for Moai music album.
