Does anyone know how to find the music from the show. Upon doing internet research, all I could locate was soundtrack music by popular artists. I want the obscure stuff.

I know for sure that The Waikikis were used for a track on the movie, and I seem to remember that this song was used in the background at some time as well in one of the episodes. Although, I may be wrong. I have no solid evidence to back it up:

Theres a CD that was out a few years ago that I got and it was titled "SpongeBob Squarepants-Original Theme Highlights". It has alot of the songs that were on the show, also I think I remember seeing at the end of the show under music credits that the Blue Hawaiians were playing some of the music.

KBT3

Steel Guitarist Jeremy Wakefield did some music for the TV show.

OK...on most of the earlier seasons, the steel guitar background music came from a cd called "Hawaii & South Pacific" by Hans Haider, a German CD. I'm sure it's also available in LP as I believe the CD is just a reissue of previously recorded studio music. I've seen the CD on ebay from time to time.

Steeler Gary Brandin 'of' The Blue Hawaiians/Vanduras has been one of the main soundtrack contributors.
Lots of SBSP soundtrack listening info comes up on google.
