maybe something would work if you substituted Bailey's for orgeat? (not sure what drink that would work in, though- maybe an Irish mai tai? i think you would have to use spiced rum) [ Edited by: thePorpoise 2011-03-03 11:24 ] |

Try something with a melon liqouer. Perhaps a green mai tai. [ Edited by: telescopes 2011-03-03 12:58 ] |

How about a dram of Jameson and a pint of Guiness served in a tiki mug with an umbrella in it. :) I really have a hard time associating tropical flavors with Ireland. |

Okay, how about this: 1/2 pint of Guiness in a shot glass add 1/2 oz Irish Wiskey Drop the shot glass into the beer and drink away. It's mixed, its layered, and yeh, it's an Irish Car Bomb, but who really cars. |

Derby Daquiri with a dash of blue curacao or just green/blue die. |

The 'Irish Nutjob' in my cocktail book is an awesome St. Patrick's Day Tiki cocktail, using various nut liqueurs, rums and also Irish Mist liqueur, garnished with green lime, mint and a green straw. Haha sorry I just saw Anestiki already posted this above, mybad! But it is DAMN tasty!!! [ Edited by: Kahuna Kevin 2011-03-05 17:34 ] |
