This is my first attempt at carving my own Tiki, it took me over 4 weeks using only chisels, the wood used is pine.

It stands around 4-5ft and will guard the entrance to my forth coming Tiki bar/Surf bar to be built in my shed.

I look forward to your comments.

I am already planning my next design and can't wait to get started.

All the best Tiki Steve!

I like the way you left the bark on the bottom and I also enjoy the effect of the wood grain on the teeth.

Good work Steve
How are the waves up there in Yorkshire?

Many thanks!

Surf on the east coast can be classic, I was at Scarborough on Saturday and the conditions were great fun, onshore but great for longboarding and mals. Winter has been great with some classic sessions at Cayton bay, Scarborough, Whitby etc. I normally surf a shortboard but enjoy taking my mal out every now and again.

Just checked out your website, looks like a great company! Do you have anything up north?

Cheers

Great job on your first attempt. I guess there are not many palm logs where you are.

Welcome and great job on this first tiki. He is clean sharp and has a good look to him.
Get yourself some hard wood. If you can do this with a pine your going to be on fire soon.

20CM Moai for my Tiki Bar!

Not yet sanded or stained.

Considering painting it in fluorescent paint to glow up under my black light.
