Hello:

I am hoping someone on this discussion board will be able to help me identify the title or artist of the tune found at the following link:

Any help is appreciated. (Also, please let me know if it is inappropriate to post links on the discussion board. The discussions here have been a valuable resource to me in the past, but this is the first time I've posted.)

It's called "The Whispering Sea" from "The Versatile Henry Mancini" LP..also released as "Driftwood & Dreams" LP by Henry Mancini & His Orchestra. What is this MP3? Must be a recording someone made of the record being played in a restaurant or something...?

Can't thank you enough! The mp3 is excerpted from a live recording of the Adventureland Veranda at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom ... recorded in 1992, if I remember right. The other tracks include Arthur Lyman version of Now is the Hour, tracks from Duke Kamoku & His Islanders Golden Hawaiian Hits, and tracks from the album Moonlight Time in Old Hawaii.

Legend has it that "duke Kamoku" is really the fabulous Tavares brothers, along with Vince Akina and several others, also known as "the polynesians"!
