I just moved and realized as I'm un-boxing that I have waaaayyyyy too many mugs. So, I'm selling a fairly large amount of my collection. For the time being I'm just selling them out of my house here in LA (Hollywood to be exact) for cash. I'd rather not waste my money (or yours) on shipping mugs. If anyone is interested, e-mail me:

All mugs are in used vintage shape without cracks or chips unless marked. Some will shown general wear from being old.

So... I've had a few inquiries, sold a few and still selling. My Craigslist listing probably had the most odd replies that made me worried. Anyhow, I'll be having a garage sale in a few weeks where I'll also be selling other Tiki related items. Probably on July 2nd. Is that a bad idea to do it on the 4th of July weekend? Anyhow, if anyone's interested, shoot me an e-mail. Of course the more mugs you buy, a discount will be given.

Thanks!

So what kind of "weird replies" to your ad? Inquiring minds want to know.

T

People wanting only to meet me in parking lots and very vague about what they're interested in. They all seemed interested some of the mugs but never say which ones yet they want my address, etc.. And of course never responding after that. Just numerous e-mails that seemed odd and fishing for something. The only thing I could imagine them being was some sort of set up to get me out of the house. But why would you want to rob someone who has Tiki mugs? Anyhow, not worth the hassle.
