ebay purchase: good item with appauling description

Pages: 1 16 replies

I had to purchase this item because I simply have been unable to find one in my town. I was annoyed and amused by the description. Besides being all caps there are no less than 12 spelling errors. Can you find them all? Can you find a new one. Give it a try. It is also good to know that Trader Vic ascended to heights greater than that of a mere tiki genius. Thanks Warren!

I can't believe he got "San Francisco" right.

And 'Bergeron'!

PJ's 14 words found, plus the following if you scroll down to "Seller's payment instructions":

RECIEVE
RECIEVE
THERE
DONT
ECT
RECIEVE

Now how about all the run-on sentences.

I think that about does it. The other error was a geographical one: was there ever a Trader Vic's in San Francisco?

Unga:
Was Emeryville once in the 415 area code? I was born and raised in Palo Alto and I remember Emeryville being closer to Oakland than S.F. Maybe there was a big plate shift since I left. Funny thing: Mapquest puts Emeryville just north of Fresno=0

Can someone actually be "RECENTLY LATE" ????

Just a thought.... LATOR GATORS!

Yes, prior to 1991.

The webpage I showed is deceiving. They were using a larger city name (S.F.) to help identify a smaller town that most people would not know where it was on the map.

I found another spelling error: Appauling!

Oh, wait, that was you!

: )

Rats! I was hoping nobody would notice. I caught it after posting but was too ethical to change it;) Serves me right.

Now, see, you shouldn't have said anything...I thought you'd just done that to be funny.
Yeah...I MEANT to do that!
