Unfortunately, almost nothing is cold-hardy, so every Fall all the banana trees, elephant ear bulbs and as many of the tropicals as we can manage are dug-up and stored in the garage. The trees hibernate and the other tropicals struggle through in pots under a grow-light. It looks like Jumanji - you expect a monkey to jump out. I'm pushing the last frost date for our area and we are getting everything back in the ground. It is a sad, sad sight right now. |
