found this beautiful piece in a little consignment shop,..bought it for my dad for christmas...I have no idea where it came from, notice the cool looking head w/ hair on the top left tiki figure... it looks like it may have been used in some Tiki restaurant as decor...please reply if you have any info!

The Head with horns is not common in Tiki Cultures, maybe Balinese or from the Philippines?

Cool piece, regardless of it's provenance.

My vote goes to the Ifagao tribe! It looks just like a batch of carvings a buddy brought back from the Phillipeans...

Wow,..thanks for the lead. I'm polynesian,.so it just didn't look quite right for it to be from the polynesian islands. I'm gonna look more into it!! Thanks a huge bunch!

Thanks for the pics.

Just joined Tiki Central a few days back and have thoroughly enjoyed all the posts and pics especially the home tiki bars. It's hard to get your tiki on in Tennessee especially in January but I'll do my best.
