Ahhh... yes, the Vic's Morgantown series - verrrry nice! I've got one of these (and the large 8 oz. champagne compote glass as well - still missing the beveled mid-sized 4 1/2 oz. glass*, however... - anybody got one?), but I don't know why all sellers seem to think this is a "Mai Tai" glass: it only holds 3 1/2 oz!! A 3 1/2 oz mai tai?? Trader Vic never served mai tais in it; according to the info I have, Vic didn't serve mai tais (or wine, for that matter) in any of the 'tiki-stem' glasses!

Silly sellers!

*btw, this one is featured on page 95 of BOT, and I think that because Sven referred to them as "... the Holy Grail of the tiki collector: a union of cocktail and Tiki culture" folks think they are extremely rare. Personally, I think the "Holy Grail" refers to its grail shape, rather than its rarity.

But still awesome glassware, no doubt about it!

Seems like there have been a ton of these on E-bay recently...2 different styles, too.

Christmas is coming! Please ship to: Jane Murray, c/o the Saucer House, Toronto, Canada....

Damn I want a set of those!

Check out this auction that ended the other day! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3156003566 ....this was actually a sweet deal for the buyer...seller could have made a small fortune if they sold these one at a time seeing as they have gone for as much as $300.00 each. We have 2 out of the 3 different syles in our personal collection. We still need the large compote, so the search continues....
