WRKK Hula Hayride
WRKK Productions will be producing an Americana based music variety show, with proceeds benefiting the Huntington Beach High School’s Performing Art Program. The event will be held at Don the Beachcomber in Sunset Beach on Thursday January 19th. This will be presented as a dinner theater in Don The Beachcomber’s tropical oasis Hidden Village Theater.

Doors will open at 7:00 pm with $12:00 and under Southern style home cooking menu. Happy hour pricing on appetizers and drinks will last all night. A voluntary $10 donation will be accepted at the door.

Artists will include:

  • From Fort Worth Texas, Glitter Rose, is a very talented singer song-writer and performer.
  • The vintage sounds of the Hot Rod Trio featuring the very talented guitarist Buddy Dughi.
  • Sunset Beach's own Road Kill Kings will perform their unique blend of countrybluegrass and burn up the stage.
  • There will be no shortage of outlaw country music with the Boardertown Saints and Signal Hillbillys making a appearance.
  • Local Violinist Emily Kilimnik will be performing a solo classical piece.
  • The high Lonesome cowboy prairie songs of Dusty Hart.
  • Making his debut appearance in Southern California will be multi-instrumentalist/singer song writer Ryan Donohue who has performed all over the world and just finished a North African tour.
  • Making a appearance from his move to Hollywood, Sunset Beach’s uncle of country Blues Mr. Dick Deluxe will be performing his unique blend of southern country and Chicago Blues.
  • Students from Huntington Beach High School’s Performing Art Program will also be performing in the MMET Band (Music Media Entertainment Technology).

Darren Ellis and Randy Cochran from The Road Kill Kings will be hosting the night with a sprinkling of their Hula Hayride house band throughout the night.

This event guarantees plenty of great music, some impromptu laughs,
great food and memories to last a lifetime.
7 p.m. - $10 suggested donation!
