Wabi Sabi Tiki corner Pub featuring a Keg-erator

Pages: 1 4 replies

I am currently constructing a fairly unusual request for a tiki keg-erator. It is being constructed out of reclaimed materials and such.

I am including several features such as this bamboo cutting board and a cork counter top. The cork is flooring panels. Not my first choice but I think it looks pretty good with the mixture of materials.

5/8" lighted glass shelves ,

I am adding a mirror and bamboo to the back walls. walla!

Here is a drip tray (which I plan to Plumb so that the overfill goes into a jug underneath.) also a space for a rubber resting pad.

Detail of shelf for shot glasses.

Next I intend to building insulated panels to line the interior and attaching a refrigerator from a mini-fridge. Wish me luck.

I am VERY curious as regards a Tiki kegerator. (I have pals who are more into craft beers than craft cocktails...)

Wabi, that's a very interesting and curious corner design! I like such things.

Nice. This is different. Im diggin what I see so far :)

Thanks! The space this is to fit is unusual. it is a small area in a hallway where several doors meet together. But I wanted to build this so that it could work in any corner. I see it as a back bar and can envision an elbow bar in front. Added bamboo trim to side.
