Lend Us A Track

Pages: 1 30 replies

Chris here from Lost In Paradise. We are trying to push for a 3rd season. Looking to see if any of you band guys might be interested in "donating" a track for us to use to "kick start" the adventure. Drop me a PM if you are interested. Credit and link to your website will be given in the titles. Mahaloz for the help.

Cheers,

Chris

You can use any David Bowie song you want to, Just tell him I said it was O.K.

Does that include "China Girl"? My Favorite David Bowie Track.

I was actually thinking something more adventurous than David Bowie.

:music: Oh baby just you shut your mouth! :music:

Well then Klaus Nomi or Iggy Pop?

Bowie, Klaus, Iggy and I moon lighted as crime fighters in the 80s
of course my music career suffered for it, But we had a kick ass helicopter.

Can you actually vouch for those bands?

Well..........................................Not really.....sooooooo....
Hey it's a shiny object, got to go!

Bowie did write "Scary Monsters" about me!

Chris, as always, you have full permission to use any of my soundcloud tracks. Just let me know which one and I will "unlock" it.

Chris - let me know if there is anything from the Dionysus / Bacchus catalog you would like to use - any of the surf stuff, Drasnin, Stereophonic Space Sound Unlimited, Creepy Creeps, etc...

DJLee is the man!

Mahaloz! You guys are awesome!

Check your PM -- The Crazed Mugs are happy to help too!

Here's an old track of mine off the Two Zombies Later comp you might want to use, Chris.

Well, we're back up and rolling, so of course, as always, the quest for music continues. Without giving to much away, the next episode I am working on involves some mid century locations and I am looking for some 60's sounding jazz to feature in the show. As always, I would prefer to feature music from currently existing band, as promoting these bands is a great feature of the show. So, if you have or know of a band that plays some 60's sounding jazz, please send them our way

Ornette Coleman & I use to party with Mingus & Miles back in the day
he still owes me for some....stuff.....I got him
so I will just have him drop off some Vinyl for you cool cats.

Make sure he also drops off some of that...stuff

You want the smooth stuff or just the stuff stuff?

Here is a site that hosts jazz that has gone into the public domain
though it might be older then what you are looking for, you still may have use for it down the road...

Check out all of Lucas Vigor's jazz and exotica tracks on Soundcloud. Some really really well written and performed material. Seriously.

Thanks Spike, yah, Lucas Vigor was the first person I contacted. In the works

Are you still looking?

I'm always looking. The 60's project is done and up and running. Mahaloz to Lucas Vigor for 'lending us a track'.

Up next...I need Rockabilly

there can be only one choice. And if you pick them, I get a double bump since I am the bassist on the first album! See what I did there? :)

I think I am vaguely familiar with the band you speak of

The Hula Guys? Lahala Girls? Ranch Dressing Trio?

The gin and tonic queens? Chimpanzee? Fartin' minniehueys? Teriyaki orcherstra? Borrowed idols? Tiki Blow's cesspool?
