Brevard Pre-Hukilau Party 2012

Pages: 1 9 replies

It's that time again! On March 24th, we'll be hosting the Brevard Pre-Hukilau party at The Storm Shelter in Rockledge. It's an opportunity for everyone to get together and get to know each other prior to the wackiness of the Hukilau in April. For more information, either PM me or shoot me an email at [email protected].

Pics from previous pre-Hukilau parties can be found at: http://www.tornadotiki.com/

Look who we just booked for the party!!!! And want to give everybody a heads up that there will be donations taken to cover the cost of the band. Just whatever you think the band is worth. Booze will still be free!

George, Pat and I are greatly looking forward to joining you, TornadoTiki and all the other Brevard area Tikiphiles at the Storm Shelter in March! Looks like a fun band!

Great to hear that you will be joining us. You will recognize many of the members of the band from other bands that have played at Hukilau in the past.

I dig the Novarays.
They will get the cops called on you if you let them. (That did happen in Sarasota.)

They also rock a few Monkees' tunes like nobody's business.

Only two weeks away! If you are thinking of going, time to get your RSVP in:

Just wanted to remind everyone one last time about the big Pre-Hukilau party this Saturday. The RSVPs are really beginning to come in and it looks like we are going to have quite a fun crowd from all over the state and more! Plus, the Nova Rays! And rum! Look for pics and more after the party.

In the 48 hours before the party, it just blew up in size. I was in the weeds behind the bar for most of the night. And TornadoTiki was also too busy to take too many photos or video. Plus she just wanted to enjoy the band. We were concerned about having a band in the house because the last time we had an acoustic setup, the cops were called. But no cops, just tons of fun! A short video of the band:

I want to thank all who showed up and helped us put on quite the wing ding. A great way to get pumped for Hukilau!

George, Pat and I thank you and Chris (TornadoTiki) for yet again being gracious hosts at another fabulous Storm Shelter soiree, featuring a superb band, perfectly mixed cocktails and mostly above-average guests . Here's proof that you were indeed working hard behind the bar...
