I recently purchased an item on ebay that related to two of my favorite hobbies-fencing and tiki drinks. They were 5 miniature foil fencing swords, that had Trader Vic's on one side of the blade and stainless steel Japan on the other side of the blade. The blade is 8 inches long, then the bell guard and handle ad 2 inches for a total of 10 inches long. I have seen small plastic swords many times before in cocktails but never any like these. I would like to know how they were used: as garnish holder for fruits in a drink or as a skewer for satay as a food dish or for another purpose? Does anyone ever remember being served one at Trader Vic's or have a photograph of then being used? Help! |

They were used for food - they were part of a mini-hibachi kit you could order from Vic's. |

I will try to post a picture, but I am still a novice with computer tasks. |
