It's quite good. Not sure if she's flew completely under the radar or what? I know she's kind of a "serious" artist in the jazz and classical world, but she's channeled Les Baxter perfectly here. |

I meant that it's Baxter-esque in that it takes Stravinsky's classicist paganism/primitive rhythm and does it in a pop style. Baxter, Drasnin, Lyman, Waldo, take your pick. This album fits the mold. |
