In some alternative universe, tucked up into some hidden corner of your neighborhood tiki bar

I gotta have one of those!!!!

A vision of possible progress....

This would be very cool. Definately a unique piece. :)

Let's see... an iPad + a barrel + crate.

  1. Speakers cut into the sides of the barrel and into the crate. A networked hard drive to hold MP3s for music.
  2. "Atari's Greatest Hits" game emulator app for fun
  3. Some cocktail apps for a handy recipe reference
  4. For video entertainment, ripped Hawaii 5-0 and Hawaiian Eye episodes, Tiki Bar TV and Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en podcasts (plus others).

I think I see my next project!

That's because the ad above has been photo-shopped...

There's no authentic Tiki or Rum connection. This would be a funny thread in Bilge, it's misleading in the General Forum.

I don't have a problem with it. I figured it was shopped far more than it actually is (the word 'Rum' was added). Any leather padded console with a barrel on top is not going to look out of place in Tiki decor.

It's not Tiki, But I would like to see someone do an actual "Tiki Style" version
now to beyond Tiki.......it should go!
