Hey hey, I'm starting to design a line of pendants for an upcoming pirate festival. This is a little large, perhaps, for a pendant and it's also quite round so it has issues laying flat. It's probably better as a decoration/figurine/ornament. But it was a first foray into possibilities! :) A line drawing was created, and then a digital 3D model was created based on the drawing. The piece was printed in a 3D printer, and then hand painted. More info about the process is in this thread: http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=43337&forum=18&13 -Whystler |

You're right, if it won't do as a pendant it will make a fine Christmas tree ornament Can you print the next one with just the front half of the cylinder so it lays flat (and it'll weigh less too)? |

Hey MadDog, Yes, I'm definately going to do that - thanks! And I'll make the hole smaller too .. right now the whole is about 1cm (3/8 inch)in diameter. -Whystler |
