Aloha friends, The Hula Girls would like to invite you all to join us on Saturday, October 20 for the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Bay to Bay Tour. Once a year, the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the MS Society hosts this event to help raise money for the fight against MS. The Bike MS Tour boasts one of the most scenic and beautiful routes in the country. The Tour rolls along the Southern California coast from scenic Orange County to beautiful San Diego. Cyclists at all levels of expertise are sure to enjoy this unique weekend of fun, fitness, friendships and the personal satisfaction of completing a 15-, 30-, 100-, or 150-mile ride to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis. At the Day 1 Celebration, The Hula Girls are helping out by performing a few hours of Hulabilly for riders, volunteers and sponsors at the luxurious Carlsbad Sheraton Resort & Spa. If you are interested in participating in the bike ride, volunteering or sponsoring/donating, please check out the link below. We'd love to see ya! http://bikecas.nationalmssociety.org/site/PageServer?pagename=BIKE_CAS_homepage Thanks in advance! Christian, Spike, Doug, Dinah & Judy |

Thanks for the pictures, Roxanne! Great to see you guys!! Yeah, the rain was a bummer all day. Wasn't coming down hard, just drizzling throughout the morning and evening. I'll tell you one thing though... I can wholeheartedly say that in all honesty, we have never before, played for a crowd wearing THAT much spandex. Yikes! Good times though... and it feels pretty good to help the MS society raise over one and a half MILLION dollars to find to cures for MS! If you want to know the definition of scary, try driving a '61 Econoline pickup, fully loaded with gear, in the rain, without windshield wipers, for an hour on the 405 and 5 freeways. And NO gas station between Costa Mesa and Carlsbad sell Rain-X!! |
