My Lady loves seahorses and mermaids, so this was my first attempt at both, plus a Halloween one, got the idea for this gnarly one from member zombie oasis I think the name is, love their work, hope they dont mind.

Been trying alittle bit of everything.....

Hey! finally got them up, Cool! The guy I got the wood from the other day saw you on here and said he thaught you did some nice work.

The smiling Moai

And his friends, 2 of Crazy Capizzis

J

My latest, come to find out the guys I work with turned it upside down and it still looked like a tiki......

This is it right side up.....

Haven't been on here in awhile and I come back to all these awesome carvings (and that killer Witch doctor costume!) WOW!

love the crown

J

My first attempt at a pelican...

And first attempt at a mask, much quicker than a whole tiki...

So I tried 3 more, all abit different

Full bodied, this before sealing...

Lastly a smaller full carve, you can probably tell Im sorta searching for my style, I like quite afew of these and have tried many to get the hang of doing these,,, I do enjoy it. Ive bought many tools and will figure it all out one of these days, hope you enjoy..

that 'stone' texture you got going on the last one is very interesting.

Truly, truly hip. Love the Moai and mermaid!
