Don Tiki's Hot Lava Holiday Songs

Pages: 1 8 replies

Hey Folks — We just dropped 6 new holiday songs on iTunes – just trying to bring a bit of sunshine and BIG fun to the season wherever you live!

  1. Xmas Eve at the Club Bambu sets the tone for a romantic romp at the local dive “where jive comes alive” on the night before Christmas.
  2. Silent Village is an ethereal mash-up of Quiet Village meets Silent Night.
  3. Jungle Jollyday is an upbeat, zany tune complete with a zombie Santa Claus and jungle birdies singing so sweet.
  4. Carol of the Bells features a persuasive percussion take on this lush perennial favorite with lovely sax and vibraphone interplay.
  5. Bla Bla Cha Cha (Holiday version) is a funny yet inclusive song about how many different ways there are to salute the holiday season.
  6. Havana Gila is a latin-tinged spin on this much beloved Jewish song, emphasis on Havana!

“Tiki supergroup Don Tiki knows the world, the subculture of tiki…it really doesn’t get much better than this!”

Outstanding! Can't make the Seattle show later this month, so this helps.

Ho Ho Ho Rum Balls! Sorry you can't make it to the Seattle show, but please tell everyone you know in the area to come see us.
We hope to sell it out so that Benaroya Hall will make it an annual tradition! Cheers~ FF

Will this be available on CD or only as a digital download? I'm hoping the artwork above indicates a CD is coming.

This thread over in Tiki Events/Other Events indicates there will be a CD, but no details yet:

Aloha Rum Balls – Right now all tracks are available on iTunes.
We just received the physical, actual CDs yesterday here in Honolulu,
but our distributor hasn't hooked `em up yet to retailers, Amazon, etc.

We will have them available for sale at our 3 holiday shows in Honolulu,
Seattle, and LA if you're planning on attending any of those.

Mahalos for your interest!

Cheers~
