You know Tiki is becoming more mainstream when Food & Wine Magazine features a Tiki drink. The Blue Steel drink from Jasper's Corner in San Francisco featured in this month's edition. Have not tried it yet. DC |

And in the note at the bottom on making simple syrup I'm reminded of the question "to boil or not to boil" when making simple syrup... I agree the cocktail name "Blue Steel" isn't very good if they are also labelling this a tiki drink. |

Looks like a good drink. Unfortunately it is not an ambiturner. It can only turn right and can't turn left. |
