I love this forum and all of the work you folks do.
I've collected some of it over the years.
Now I've got something for you.
I've been thinking about this for a while and finally got some time to do it.

I bought a book in Hawai'i a few years back that was called "Teller of Hawai'ian Tales" by Eric Knudsen.
From that book, I chose Hina, The Woman in The Moon to read to you.
I thought it might inspire some of you to hear some good old Hawai'ian legend.
Enjoy.

I'll post another one tomorrow.

Very nice. More?

Pablus, Big Mahalos, this is a BEautiful story and Very Well told! Technically, the recording is just plain Superb. Thanks again and again and Again.

Wow... very cool! Thank you!

What a great way to start the day! Thanks Pablus.

P

Mahalo for the kinds words.

Here is another story, which recounts something experienced by Knudsen during his days on Kauai, his home.
I really like this one because of the odd use of wood involved in an oahi.

I'm hoping this stuff will inspire you to carve more magnificent works of art.
Each of these stories are chosen by me toward that end.

It may be a bit before I get another one up.
But when I do, it will be the story of Pele's Revenge.

For today, this story is called Na Oahi...

Pablus!!! Those are excellent. You have a great voice for talkin' story. Those would make great Podcasts! If interested or have any questions about pursuing the idea, feel free to get in touch with me.

Thanks for the generous gift!!

Chongolio

Pablus,

Big Mahalos for the "talk story."

I'm honored to have my work in your collection.

Look forward to the next story that will be going straight to my Ipod... good listneing while sweating out another tiki.

See you at Hukilau Bruddah.

Pablus, Na Oahi is a beautiful story. I remember talking with you in your home after all the party guests had left on the night I visited. You told me about the Hawaiian "fireworks" and how they were thrown off the cliffs. It was nice to hear it again. I've been playing these stories for my family when we are eating dinner together. Thank you for such a nice gift!

Somebody sent me an email asking for these as they couldn't find them.

I'm surprised that 3 of the links still work. I forgot I even had that domain still.

Enjoy "Somebody" - and know that I love everything you carvers do.
You people don't have a bigger fan...ummm, literally and emotionally.
