I thought the $50,000 ea estimated value was amazing. $200,000 for four doors?

That's probably about right for these finacially crazy times considering their history/replacement value, and I agree that they were lucky to not lose them long ago. They should have been removed and stashed for safety after the hurricane, so it was to be expected. A real shame all around, but that's 1st world worries for ya.

It's been 20 years, at least someone is taking interest in the classic hotel, even if it's stealing. :) We stayed in Kapaa for our honeymoon back in October and it pained me to drive by the place everyday and see that nothing has been done.
