Tiki bowls...

What is a good, cheap source for buying tiki bowls? I want to get a couple but the prices on Ebay are ridiculous - has anyone ordered from Dynasty Wholesale?

I have never ordered from "Louie B". I have ordered from Trader Dutch, and was very happy with the service. I ordered the volcano bowl and I serve scorpions in it.

Island madness is local for us john. I think Hagerstown Or Hyattsville. I bought a dozen mugs from them. Good Service.

I've been e-mailing Louis B for years, no go. I know for a fact they don't have the volcano Bowl. It's been out of stock for months on other sites, and I was told that they had been promissing to get it for months, so it looks like there won't be any more anytime soon. But, alas, perhaps someone can find a physical adress, go there, something. It doesn't look good though. And it's a damn shame, because I'm sure poeple like us would give them darn good business too.

Hey John, what do you consider cheap? I see Orchids of Hawaii bowls on ebay all the time close for under 20 bucks. Of course that doesn't cover shipping......

There's always the bowls at Trader Dicks in Reno. They are very cheap, maybe a TCer out there can hook you up....

I ordered 9 dozen mugs from Dynasty Wholesale. Great price, good delivery, no problemos. Will buy from them again.

I got dynasty's catalog once. 8 months after I ordered it. And it was cut in thirds. The post office did a number on it.

Thanks for the suggestions, right now we will be using a mix of vintage, Bosko and Munktiki bowls I have, purchasing bowls from Dynasty, and bowls from the Emeryville Trader Vics. I tried calling Loiue B to no avail. If I have missed a source please let me know. Also will contact J. Velour about his beautiful hand crafted pieces.
