A co-worker of mine once worked at POP in the 60s, and he recently gave me a bunch of pictures from the park in that period. I only remember it as a very young kid. It was cool to see some of those photos. Non of them, unfortunately, were of the island ride at the end of the pier. Now that is an extremely vague memory. |

I have some good pix of the "Mystery Island Banana Train" - there are a few in the "E" Ticket Issue #37, which features P.O.P.

I'm sure Tangaroa has already seen this, but Jim Hill gave a very nice mention to his work this morning: "Well, I am pleased to report "The 'E' Ticket" is staging a bit of a comeback. By that I mean, a new and improved version of the magazine's website went live earlier this week. And what a wonder http://www.the-e-ticket.com is to explore. Check out that great design. It goes on for pages and pages, people. With lots of witty touches tucked away in odd little corners." |

Tangaroa - the new site is beautiful - you've done a great job! Did you create the banners as well? |

Yep - I created the banners - everything... (with the exception of some asp pages coming soon). It was a long, but good learning experience for me... |
