Well, after all my long years of hard work, I have finaly completed my theory; Rapa Nui culture did proliferate in the heart of North America. This photo taken from the Colorado Rockies sums it all up, behold the majestic Moai. There is no mistaking it. This very lucky individual (hanging on) was to be sacrificed to the gods, but somehow grabbed onto the Moai’s eyebrow, on his way down. Truly, the Tiki Gods can be merciful.
My book will be on sale shortly, and of coarse, there will be a discount for TC members.

I've always thought The Old Man Of The Mountain in Franconia, NH was Moai-esque. But alas, he down last fall.
