Hi i am new to tiki sculpture world and found this piece at a thrift store. it has no markings and was wondering if it is a Witco Tiki? And what kind of value it is. |

Not all Witco is Tiki (this is not), just as not all Tiki is Witco. The best Witco is Tiki and midcentury modern-style. Then there is conquistador Witco, viking Witco, baroque Witco...this I would call medieval Witco, not very sought after....unless, for whatever reason, you are building a dungeon in your basement :) But also, this is YOUR Witco, and if YOU like it, it is of value. |

Thanks for info. I was thinking it was a chess piece. Its definitely mid-century as was the rest of the estate collection i recieved. |

Correct me if I am wrong but Witco isnt tiki at all. Maybe tiki style but actually its American Kitsch. |
