That was fun, 34 rides in 1 day, not a record but not bad for a Sunday.

Thx again Natalie! for another great gathering of the tiki clan...this time the weather gods were with us and it wasn't 101 degrees!!! me and my sweetie TikiMouse, had a blast! But we got 'rum'd' at Trader Sams and we'r feelin' it today ;/ ... Looking forward to next year :wink: ...Next up : 'Monsters and Mai Tais' @ Tonga Hut! Aloha.

Glad to hear you all had fun! Sorry I couldn't make it this year, but the 3rd time is a charm as they say! I'll try to make it next year.

There was a Tiki Day group shot in front of the castle floating around on Facebook.
Will there be an authorized posting of it? Since I was not there, I don't feel like I can official post it.

OK, here's what I found...

I found it on FB. The picture as posted is way too small to view individuals...including me.

I showed up at 1:00 in front of the castle, saw a large group of tiki clad people. No one greeted me, made eye contact or said "hello". I did see Scott, and said "hi", but that's about it. Got my picture taken, then promptly left to enjoy the rest of my day there.

Anyway, a warning for anyone popping into classic Disneyland for a fun Friday evening...the park is shutting down at 7 almost every night to have a badge only halloween party...anyone not wearing the badge has to leave and is forced to wade through a crowd of 20,000 all trying to leave the park at the same time, followed by a 45 minute slow crawl out of the parking structure.

I found all of this out the hard way, last Friday night.
