Kia ora from New Zealand. To cut a long story short yesterday I went to a house to look at and maybe purchase a velvet painting. Then the guy showed me a section wall from a bar in Tahiti where Leeteg once drank. He couldnt pay his bill so the guy got him to paint a lady ( called Mau Lili ) and Moorea on the wall its 4m x4m. Signed Leeteg and in great condition. Have you got any thoughts on what I should do with it? |

WOW! That is outstanding. From the story you told, it may have come from Quinn's bar where Leeteg hung out (see link below).

Wow, very nice! Pretty amazing find, I wonder how many examples there are of that kind of story with Leeteg. Enjoy it! -Randy |

Im selling mine too. Dont know what the value is. Looks really old. I got it for maybe $15 at an estate sale 10 to 12 years ago in Scottsdale AZ. Had a lamp attached to it and i discarded it. I though it would mess up the painting due to the heat in the lamp but then realized that it was how it supposed to be. |
