Enrolled at the local art school night classes in pottery to have a try after looking at Van Tiki's pots on this forum. Heres my first attempts, not many Tiki based ones yet but a few small shrunken head shot glasses. lager plaster molded pots are now started. wasn't too happy with the glazes but you live and learn |

Cheers . Have done a few from plaster moulds and will be doing some more tiki themed pieces soon. Ill post some up as they develop. I will have to read up a bit on glazes as I havent a clue what im doing. So far ive only used stoneware as I like other peoples natural looking results. But mine look nothing like I anticipate. Maybe earthenware might be more controlled. Now wheres the Van Tiki workshop manual on this site. |
