Kia ora from New Zealand. To cut a long story short yesterday I went to a house to look at and maybe purchase a velvet painting. Then the guy showed me a section wall from a bar in Tahiti where Leeteg once drank. He couldnt pay his bill so the guy got him to paint a lady ( called Mau Lili ) and Moorea on the wall its 4m x4m. Signed Leeteg and in great condition. Have you got any thoughts on what I should do with it?

Yes! Post a photo of it!

4x4 meters? That's about 13x13 feet! :o

WOW! That is outstanding. From the story you told, it may have come from Quinn's bar where Leeteg hung out (see link below).

Wow, very nice! Pretty amazing find, I wonder how many examples there are of that kind of story with Leeteg. Enjoy it!

Great piece, hold on to it!

Im selling mine too. Dont know what the value is. Looks really old. I got it for maybe $15 at an estate sale 10 to 12 years ago in Scottsdale AZ. Had a lamp attached to it and i discarded it. I though it would mess up the painting due to the heat in the lamp but then realized that it was how it supposed to be.
