Bamboo Trading Company

I noticed this entry in a catalog, and could find no mention of it here on TC. It's not surf or exotica: more beach music, consisting of members of the Beach Boys' band, Surf City Allstars and Jan & Dean. It's not really my cup o' tea, but it does feature a song entitled "Tonga Hut" which earns it a mention here. The album seems to have been released eponymously under the band's name, and more recently as "From Kitty Hawk to Surf City."

I know! The more I listen, the more I like this song....sounds like something Tikyaki Orchestra would do, but with cool, loungy vocals!
