Radio vic archive?

Hi all,

I would have assumed that this question was asked previously, but I searched several times and didn't find any relevant threads. So apologies if it has already been asked.

Back in the 1990s, there was an awesome website called either Radio Vik or Radio Vic, which had RealAudio streams of cool lounge/tiki music (remember RealAudio??) Well, that site seems to have disappeared off the Earth--i've searched for an hour and can't find anything. I'd love to find out what albums were featured on Radio Vic, since they were really meaningful to me.

Anyways, if you have any pointers, please let me know. Thanks!

I'm thinking you mean Vegas Vic's Tiki Lounge. If you do a search on this site you'll find some info.
I guess there was a torrent floating around after it folded but don't know if that's still the case.

It looks like it's also available on Live365 but that means being tethered when it'd be so much nicer to be able to carry it with you. Maybe someone else can help you out.

Thanks for the reply. I want to say, though, that it was something like "Vic Triola's Louge" or something like that. Vegas Vic doesn't sound familiar... This was maybe 1997 or so?

You're thinking of Vik Trola's Lounge of Self Indulgence. It's been gone for a number of years.

The original URL was www(dot)chaoskitty(dot)com/t_chaos/lounge.html. That link is dead but the Wayback Machine has archived copies. You can visit this one from 2004 as an example.

Yes! This is it. Thanks!

Anyone know of the back story to this site? Is the operator still around (maybe even on this forum??)
